Berry Infused Water Recipes


Keeping your body hydrated is important, but unless you’ve just binged on a large bag of chips, chugging down eight glasses of water for daily hydration may not sound that exciting to you. If you are looking for a way to increase your daily water intake, or is just bored of the taste of plain old H2O, fruit infused water may be a good option for you.

Water infused with natural ingredients such as fruits, vegetables and herbs not only taste better, but it can offer additional nutritional and health benefits; some includes appetite control, faster metabolism and improved immune functions. Fruit infused water entice you to drink more, and make staying hydrated less of a chore and a bit more fun.

Here are some fruit infused water recipes we want you to try.

Ingredients:

Blackberry, orange and mint

  • 1 cup of blackberries

  • 1 orange, sliced

  • 5 fresh mint leaves

Raspberry, lemon and mint

  • 1 cup of raspberries

  • 1 lemon, sliced

  • 5 fresh mint leaves

Blueberry, lemon and rosemary

  • 1 cup of blueberries

  • 1 lemon, sliced

  • 2 sprigs of rosemary

Raspberry, mango and ginger

  • 1 cup of raspberries

  • 1 cup of mango, cubed

  • 1 small piece of ginger, peeled and thinly sliced

Method:

  1. Place the combination of fruit and herb in a glass jar with a lid.

  2. Press on the fruit lightly with a spoon to release the flavours.

  3. Add water and cover.

  4. Place in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to overnight.

  5. Enjoy!
