Chia seed pudding

September 26, 2018

  • 6 tablespoons chia seeds

  • 2 cups of almond or cashew milk

  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup, honey or sweetener of choice

  • Y.V.Fresh blueberries and raspberries for topping

  1. In a large bowl or mason jar, mix together chia seeds, milk, sweetener and vanilla. If you are using a mason jar, you can put the lid on and shake the mixture to combine everything.

  2. Once the chia pudding mixture is well combined, let it sit for 5 minutes, give it another stir to break up any clumps of chia seeds.

  3. Cover and put the mixture in the fridge for 1 - 2 hours or overnight. The chia pudding should be nice and thick. If it is not thick, just add more chia seeds and stir and refrigerate for another 30 minutes.

  4. Serve with Y.V.Fresh berries
