Superfood flu busting smoothie


It's that time of year where the common cold seems to be lurking. Whether you are unwell or trying to prevent a unwanted sickness, we have a superfood green smoothie just for!

You will need:

  • 1 ripe banana

  • 1 cup of Y.V.Fresh blueberries

  • 2-3 kale leaves

  • Handful of spinach

  • Tablespoon of Y.V.Fresh lemon juice

  • 1 inch of ginger root, peeled

  • ¼ cup of 100% natural coconut water or as needed

  • Chia seeds and coconut flakes for topping (optional)

Method:

Add all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Pour mixture into a glass and sprinkle on your chia seeds and coconut flakes - enjoy!
