The 2.2 pH in lemons helps to alkalinize our own pH, due to the huge levels of citric acid. Drinking lemon juice in water is seen as one of the best ways to alkalize your body.


Boost liver function

Drinking warm lemon juice upon waking up helps to flush toxins from the liver due to its bitterness. Lemon juice is a natural cleaner, so it helps control damaging organisms. Not only does this aid your liver function but also promotes better skin and helps calm a sore throat.


Aid digestion

Lemons contain numerous phytochemicals, including polyphenols which are micronutrients full of antioxidants. Polyphenols are micronutrients that we can get through certain plant based foods. They're packed with antioxidants and potential health benefits.


Skin care

Lemon juice being a natural antiseptic medicine, can also cure problems related to the skin. The juice can be applied to reduce the pain of sunburns and is also helpful for acne and eczema. It acts as an anti aging remedy and can remove wrinkles and blackheads. Drinking lemon juice mixed with water and honey brings a healthy glow to the skin. Lemon juice is also very helpful for bee stings.
