Berry Smoothie Bowls

As we begin heading into the warmer months of the year here in Australia, we have put together a recipe for one of our favourite refreshing and healthy snacks. Super easy to make and full of protein, vitamins and antioxidants, this smoothie bowl recipe is so tasty, you won’t even be able to tell that it’s healthy!  

You will need:



  • ½ cup fresh Y.V.Fresh strawberries

  • ½ cup fresh Y.V.Fresh blackberries

  • 1 ripe banana (frozen)

  • 2 cups super thick Greek yoghurt

  • Honey to taste


  • Y.V.Fresh Erica raspberries

  • Y.V.Fresh blueberries

  • Granola

  • Chia seeds



Three hours before you wish to make your smoothie, peel the banana, place in a ziplock bag and place in the freezer. This step is not essential, however the frozen banana will give your smoothie a thicker, ice cream like texture.  


When it is time to make your smoothie bowl, wash and dry all your berries separately and place them to the side.


In a blender, spoon in the cups of yoghurt and honey, before putting in berries and the banana. Blend together until the texture is thick and creamy. If the smoothie needs more honey, spoon more in and fold it into the mixture.


Pour the smoothie in a bowl and top of with Y.V.Fresh blueberries and Erica raspberries, granola and chia seeds.


Voila! Enjoy as a snack or for brekky on a warm day!
