Every species on earth has a two part scientific name. This system is called binomial nomenclature and is used so that no matter where in the world someone is, or whichever language they speak; they can communicate using ambiguous names to discuss these living organisms.


Today we’ve put together a game to get everyone learning the scientific names of our delicious fruit.


Match up the berries listed below to their scientific name and let us know how many you get right. Answers will be provided at the bottom of the page.
